The Wholeness Work: change at the level of the self

A gentle, subtle process, developed by Connirae Andreas, that works with the felt sense of self behind a reaction. As that sense of self opens, the pattern tied to it loosens and settles. It reaches a depth most approaches never touch.

The Wholeness Work, developed by Connirae Andreas, is a gentle process that works with the felt sense of self: the quiet "I" that sits behind a reaction. As that sense of self relaxes and becomes more spacious, the reactive pattern attached to it loses its grip and reorganises on its own. Most people describe the result as calm, settled, and lasting.

Working with the self, not just the symptom

Most methods work on a feeling, a belief, or a behaviour. The Wholeness Work goes one step further in: it works with the sense of self that is having the experience in the first place. When you meet a reaction at that level, it doesn't need to be argued with or managed. It simply has less to hold on to.

The quality of the work is often described as meditative. It is subtle, unforced, and surprisingly deep. People reach a kind of presence that stays with them after the session, in how they meet the next difficult moment.

From the same source as Core Transformation

The Wholeness Work and Core Transformation were both developed by Connirae Andreas, Mark's mother. Core Transformation follows a feeling down to a Core State. The Wholeness Work enters through the sense of self. They sit naturally together, and Mark uses both, reading the person and reaching for whichever fits. More on how Mark works →

What people bring to it

  • Reactivity and emotional charge that keeps returning
  • Anxiety, self-criticism, or a strong "I" caught in a pattern
  • A wish for a more settled, spacious way of being, not only a fix

Working with Mark

Mark grew up inside this lineage and works with the Wholeness Work in 1:1 practice. Mark learned it from its creator, Connirae Andreas. The easiest way to understand it is to experience a piece of it, which often happens naturally in a first conversation or in the free Core Transformation intro.

The Wholeness Work has its own home, with trainings and resources from Connirae Andreas and her team. Visit the official Wholeness Work site →

Common questions

What is the Wholeness Work?

A gentle process, developed by Connirae Andreas, that works with the felt sense of self, the quiet "I" behind a reaction. As that sense of self relaxes and opens, the pattern tied to it loses its grip and reorganises on its own.

How is it different from Core Transformation?

Both come from Connirae Andreas. Core Transformation follows a feeling down to a Core State. The Wholeness Work goes in through the sense of self itself, which makes it especially useful for reactivity, identity, and a settled quality of presence. Mark uses both.

Who is it for?

Anyone working with reactivity, anxiety, self-criticism, or a strong sense of "I" caught in a pattern. It suits people who want subtle, deep, often meditative work.

Do you work online or in person?

Both. Most clients work with Mark over Zoom from anywhere in the world. In-person sessions are available in Boulder, Colorado.
