Core Transformation: change that reaches all the way down
A gentle, deep process, developed by Connirae Andreas, that follows an unwanted feeling or behaviour down through its positive purposes to a Core State of wholeness and peace, where the pattern reorganises on its own. It's the work Mark reaches for most.
Core Transformation is a gentle, structured change-work process, developed by Connirae Andreas, that takes an unwanted feeling or behaviour and follows it, with curiosity, not force, down through the positive purposes beneath it, until you reach a Core State of wholeness, peace or being. From there, the original pattern simply settles.
Not against the pattern, through it
Most approaches try to push a reaction away, manage it, or reason it out of existence. Core Transformation does the opposite. It treats even an unwanted feeling as having a positive purpose, and gently follows that purpose inward, step by step, to something deeper underneath, and then deeper again.
What you arrive at is a Core State: a simple, felt sense usually described as wholeness, peace, being, or love. Meeting the pattern from that place is what lets the change feel effortless and stay changed. Most people describe it the same way: I didn't have to force anything. It just changed.
Evidence, rare, in a field that runs on claims
Core Transformation is one of the few transformational methods with real research behind it: three published studies, including two randomized controlled trials, plus a 2026 study of the coaches Mark and Tamara Andreas certify. We mention it because it's true and unusually honest for this category, not because evidence is why anyone walks in the door. // link to study citations
What people bring to it
- Anxiety, self-criticism, or a reaction that insight alone never resolved
- A habit or response that keeps showing up despite your best intentions
- A wish to keep evolving, not to fix a problem, but to grow as a person
Working with Mark
Core Transformation is Mark's most-used method. Mark co-designed the Core Transformation Coach Certification with Tamara Andreas, Mark's aunt, and learned the work directly from its creator, Connirae Andreas, Mark's mother. Practised for more than fifteen years across personal and executive work.

Common questions
What is Core Transformation?
A gentle, structured process, developed by Connirae Andreas, that follows an unwanted feeling or behaviour down through its positive purposes to a Core State, a felt sense of wholeness, peace or being, at which the original pattern reorganises on its own.
What is a Core State?
The deep, simple sense the process arrives at, typically wholeness, peace, being, or love. Reaching it from inside the pattern is what allows change to feel effortless and to hold.
Is there evidence for it?
Yes, three published studies, including two randomized controlled trials, plus a 2026 study of certified coaches. Few methods in this field can say that.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies, but meaningful change is often visible within one to three sessions. The aim is a real shift in the pattern, not an open-ended standing appointment.
Do you work online or in person?
Both. Most clients work with Mark over Zoom from anywhere in the world; in-person sessions are available in Boulder, Colorado.
